Your dead meat .. sort of

This picture was inspired because of how the Changing Breeds book from the new World of Darkness handled bat-shifters.
Mostly because it suggested them as being perfect for vampire companions.
Yeah right I thought. Why should they? Lots of their bad reputation stems from the undead leeches in modern times of the World of Darkness. The only good about tht association is that should a human (or other supernatual) in the WoD ever see a human transform into a bat (or vice versa) they would immediately think vampire and not bat-shifter so they would prepare wodden stakes and not silver bullets.

This one shows a spectral bat (Vampyrum spectrum) shifter, called a Huelputano, in his war form. It didn't get out quite as planned but especially the head is even better than I had imagined, it (and the hands) are so big it could swallow the vampire's head whole.
