Tree-cougar

Yeah not one of my better name ideas but this one had to come out finally. I am currently working of getting all those approved ideas into the project before adding any new ones. And well this carnivor is one of them.

The Tree-cougar is vey similar to the modern day Fossa in both appearance and size but it evolved on the Allocene Phillipines and is actually a descendent of domestic dogs (well the street and feral ones that is).
The Tree-cougar is more flexible and adapted to climbing up and on trees, hunting its prey with stealth.
Tree-cougars are solitary beings with strict territories that usually only overlap during the mating season. Then it gets really loud since in these guys barking has evolved into their mating calls and during that time of the year the forests are full of a cacophony of barking, with each male trying to outcompete the others with eleaborate combinations o barking sounds.
