Peregrinans harena

This desendent of the domestic goat lives in Northern Africa of the Allocene. It has evolved to a more camal/alpaca like form, with a long neck and limbs. Unlike the camel this being evolved a fat deposit on the rear end, similar to the "fat tail" of some modern day breeds. These beings are not fast runners but rather long walkers and usually their herds protect them from predators. Not that there are many around where they live that could bring down a healthy adult, since they are about the size of red deer.

As for the horns and the ears... well it had to have bigger ears than modern day goats and the horns... I simply forgot that I wanted to give it horns and so they are so small since I had to add them later.

A clap for the image title lol love it. Aren't these the animals that can spit on you if they feel threatened?

No, this is a speculative evolution picture. This mammal is a descendent of the domestic goat and lives in the dry lands of Northern Africa 35 million years in the future.

35 Million years in the future? Damn...

Well considered that it is not so different from modern day goats. You should see some of my other future stuff.

Very neat! I love the guanaco-ish semblance.

That was what came out in the end. I guess that is the most likely result of a goat adapting to such conditions.

Yeah, it looks quite plausible.

They don't. This is part of a future evolution speculation project.

Oh, my bad. It just seemed so realistic that I assumed.
