Teen Wolf Reboot - Beast of Gevaudan

I am not going to act as if this is the most creative/original werewolf design, however when you, like Teen Wolf did in season 5, claim it is supposed to be the perfect killer and actually reference and show artistic interpretations of the Beast (plus having people claim it looks like this or that), than you should actually do your job and make a design that could fit (what they had fit neither depictions nor the descriptions giving within the show). There were differing interpretations of the Beast, but a lot, if not most, show it with a long tail and overall very canine in appearance. However Teen Wolf Beast does not look canine at all, nor does it have a tail. Neither would I consider a hulking black brute like that to be a design fitting for the "perfect" killer. I sleeker version with long claws and muzzle fit better. Not to mention that what they had was really uncreative, more than mine here, but seriously, would anyone actually say that this:

Sure, Teen Wolf does that all the time (the kanaima being a snake-man instead of a jaguar, berserkers wearing bear-bones and being related to ancient Mexico, skinwalkers and "kitsune" who are not shapeshifters (and the "kitsune" sharing none of their mythological counterparts' powers), but come on, low budget is one thing, but when you actually do CGI, can't you use a more fitting design?

PS. In the show they have some French guy from back in the days claim some people claim the beast looks like a hyena, and as far as I know, no one back then ever claimed that. They probably had no idea what a hyena was. As far as I know the claim of it being a hyena came up in 2009.
