Description
A "collage" made of old pictures of winning German shepherds between the years 1908-1912.
I wanted to show some older looks of these dogs to at least try to balance out this "advertizement" of the banana backs, as I call them, and show that they are not the basic form of the German Shepherd, but it's rather the straight backs and light build ones.

I love GSD from this period, elegant, slender and agile. Seeing their straight back fills my heart with joy and it's a shame how show lines ruined the breed. I much more prefer the working lines. I also noticed the show lines are bigger than their working counterpart. In future i plan to get a GSD from working lines but for now i limit myself to get as much info as i can because i have to understand what i can offer to a potential future dog.
I nickname these dogs "wolf back" dogs^^
